Heeryung Choi

I am a research fellow at the University of Michigan School of Information. Prior to this, I worked as a digital learning postdoctoral associate researcher at MIT. My primary research focus is to advance a theoretical and methodological understanding of self-regualted learning (SRL) skills through machine learning, educational theory, and learner-centered design. I believe SRL skills, such as metacognitive thinking, are even more crucial in this AI erea. Outside of my research, I enjoy listening to K-pop while walking around here and there.
